Zebra Scanners
Bluetooth Zebra hardware with the MFi protocol.
Zebra Scanners provide direct integration with the ScaryGood Box Office app, and don't have any of the problems that generic Bluetooth Scanners have, although they are a little more expensive.
It is recommended that you use a Zebra DS2278 when using an iPad Box Office setup with Square Stand.

The basic Zebra Scanner that works great for most use cases, works down to 32F.
DS3608 ($365) - Download Manual
A Zebra Scanner that works in freezing temperatures.
Alternatively you can buy the DS3678 which includes a cradle charger (instead of a USB charger).
CS6080 ($460) - Download Manual
A Zebra Scanner that can fit in your pocket.
DS8178 ($895) - Download Manual
A premium Zebra Scanner with a larger sensor.
We also recommend checking eBay to find used scanners for cheaper.
Setting up your Zebra Scanner
Before following the steps below, ensure that your Zebra Scanner is reset to defaults:
You can find other barcodes to scan for additional scanner settings by looking in your devices manual above.
Zebra Scanners utilize scan-to-connect functionality from directly within the app, and can't be paired from your devices Bluetooth settings in advance.
Open the ScaryGood Box Office app
Click on the Settings tab
Scroll down to the Physical Barcode Scanner section
Click on "Add a Zebra Scanner"
Scan the barcode with your Scanner
Wait for the pairing dialog to open, then click pair.
If pairing fails, try scanning the barcode again. If it still doesn't work, go to your devices Bluetooth settings and forget this scanner. Scanners must be forgotten in order to pair again.
Using your Zebra Scanner
Once paired, the Zebra Scanner works from any screen in the box office app, you do not need to be on the Scan tab. Simply scan a ticket and you're good to go! You can still visit the Scan tab in order to view your Scan History.
If your Zebra scanner is in it's cradle, it can also automatically sense QR codes and scan them.
