I'm Matt, co-owner of Forsaken Souls Haunted Attraction in Edgerton, WI and founder of ScaryGood. Last year I noticed my ads weren't getting the credit they deserve for my ticket sales, so I made a quick fix I wanted to share with you.
Ad platforms like Facebook rely on ticket sales being reported back to them, so they know which ads are performing and what kind of people are buying tickets. This allows Facebook to show the best ads to people who are more likely to buy tickets.
So, you run a Facebook or Google Ad. Someone clicks it and lands on your haunted houses website. Special tracking data gets attached so you can let Facebook know when you sell a ticket and they can improve your ads performance. So far, so good.
They click "Buy Tickets" and get sent to your ticketing platform (HauntPay, FearTicket, ScaryGood, etc).
Your ticketing platform sends the ticket sale to Facebook, but Facebook doesn't know how to attach the sale to your ad: the tracking data gets lost when your guest clicked "Buy Tickets."
Because Facebook can't improve its algorithm, you spend more on ads and make less money.
So you've got two options: abandon your website entirely and send ads to your ticketing page instead, or install our free ad fix that automatically sends the tracking data to your ticketing platform.

- What’s the catch? Why is this free?
- Matt here (our founder) 👋 There is no catch. AdFix is completely free, forever. I believe a rising tide lifts all ghost ships. When the entire haunt industry gets better at advertising, more people visit haunted attractions, and that's all I want.
You don't have to use ScaryGood, we'll never pressure you, and we don't track you.

- No. AdFix runs entirely on your own website. It works behind the scenes to make sure your ticketing links carry the right tracking data when visitors click through. You don't need to change anything on your ticketing platform.
- Which ad platforms does AdFix support?
- AdFix supports Facebook/Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Microsoft/Bing Ads, and Snapchat. It also forwards all UTM parameters that you set up in your ad campaigns.
- What ticketing platforms does AdFix support?
